A timesheet records when work was done on which day – for the employer, for the client or as the basis for billing by time.
In the Excel file you enter start and end for each day as clock times, the way the clock shows them, such as 8:30 and 17:00, and the break as a duration, such as 0:45 for 45 minutes. The formulas work out the hours of the row and the total for the month, in hours with decimals for billing: 8:30 to 17:00 with a 0:45 break is 7.75 hours. The Word file and the PDF have the same columns for filling in by hand, plus the signature fields.
